We spent a day at one of our favorite beach clubs, Aspat. The water there is crystal clear and as calm as a lake. It is perfect for babies. Lev sat in his floaty and had a great time. Everyone spent a lot of time in the water. Dede floated away before we could get a good picture of us all together.
After a long day of swimming, Anne and Lev took a nap in the hammock. We both woke up refreshed and ready to swim again.
The next day we took a ferry boat to the Greek island of Cos. It was the first time for all except Anne to go to Greece. Cos is a cute place with many cafes and other places for tourists to spend money. Also lots of interesting ruins. A great day trip.
The day after Cos, Bella and PawPaw went to Ephesus and the rest of us stayed home. Two of Baba's long-time friends came from Istanbul to meet Lev. Lev had a great time but was extra exhausted by the extra attention.

Lev is enjoying exploring and learning about the sea. For instance, he discovered that sand is not delicious. We have the Yummy Yucky book at home but apparently Lev has not been studying it closely.
Bella and PawPaw returned home today and Anne, Baba, and Lev will stay until Friday. What a great trip for all!!
