Bodrum Adventure II

Ba'anne bought Lev a baby pool and it has turned out to be the best way to end our day.  It's so very very hot, so we let Lev splash around after his nap and just before dinner. 

We had a chance to catch up briefly with long-time friends Sarper and Deran who of course fell in love with Lev.

Ba'anne has been working so hard to keep us fed and happy, we thought the least we could do was help her empty the dishwasher

The day after Bella and PawPaw arrived, we went to the beach and had a giant breakfast at our favorite hang out.

Bella jumped into the water with all of us, and PawPaw plans to bring his suit the next time we're beach bound.

On Aug 3, we celebrated Lev's 1st birthday.  Each of us had a delicious dessert, and Lev got to blow out a candle on top of his cake.  Then he had his first taste of chocolate.  He ate it all, but wasn't nearly as impressed as I expected.  No rapturous faces or anything.  Bella gave him some nice gifts and he got lots of kisses from Anne and Baba.
