Anne's Birthday Week

Pregnant, sick Anne has not done a good job with veggies and home cooked goodness these past weeks.  She's taking a break from spinach and letting the chocolate run the show.  During her birthday week all junk food hell broke loose.  Here are some highlights:

On my birthday morning, I couldn't stand the whining so I surprised him with a question:  "Would you like chocolate yogurt for breakfast?"  "Yes!" with joyful scampering to sit down at the table.  He ate half, then painted with the other half.

Somewhere along the way Lev learned about gingerbread, probably from his Gingerbread Baby book.  As far as I know he has never tasted it, but a few days ago he said he wanted gingerbread for breakfast.  He asked a few more times, so I promised I'd make him some.  As by psychic connection, Bella sent us an adorable set of dinosaur cookie cutters.  Sunday I made dough, then together we rolled, cut and decorated the cookies.  Lev was very eager to help and truly did a fantastic job.  He has a good eye for design.

Lev decorated the raisin heavy ones and made the stegosaurus special for Baba.  I ate the Oklahoma shaped cookie.  We all had a glass of milk

For dinner, we were tired of pasta and rice so we went out for pizza.  (yes, this pregnancy is turning me into a carboloader).  Lev wanted a big piece, so we got him his own slice that he managed quite well.  Especially once we showed him how to fold it to keep the gooey cheese inside.

Let's just hope none of us get too used to this diet!
