Summer Fun

We've had a mix summer of extreme heat, extreme rain, and a couple of perfect, clear days.  In all cases, we've been having fun.  Last Sunday on a whim we went to the Public Garden and rode the swan boats.

Afterwards we ate a picnic and threw rocks into the pond.

This week Kathleen Combs and her family are in New Hampshire while Jason take a bow hairing course.  Lev and I planned to meet them at their beach house in Rye, but the storm clouds overhead had other ideas. Instead, we met at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover.  The museum was awesome and I hope to take Lev back again.  He had a great time.  Here he has found some over-sized gloves and is ecstatic to be wearing them.

This morning we went out early to forage for our breakfast.  We actually we ate cheerios and milk, but we did pick about a pint of raspberries off of our bush in the back yard.  Looks like we'll get a great crop this year and the berries are super yummy.  Lev didn't share.

Next week we might brave the fireworks on the Charles and we're hoping to go berry picking with friends Kira and Hilary.  We are having a great summer.
