There are Christmas lights all over the Boston metro and we've enjoyed looking at them. This Tuesday Bigelow held a lantern walk, a German tradition where the kids process with lanterns and sing a traditional song. The Rainbow 3 class made plastic lanterns for everyone and we walked into the square holding them and singing Jingle Bells. It was fun but a very cold night.
Thursday we went to the Stone Zoo for Zoo Lights--an enormously popular event that includes a slightly creepy collection of animatronic Christmas scenes. Lev enjoyed walking around, tripping and falling a lot, and staring at the ice skating penguins. There was also a little train ride but he'll have to wait a year or two to be big enough for that.
