Potty and other milestones

We've been letting Levent sit on the potty after breakfast and dinner for many days now and he really loves it.  This evening, we let him get on, then I said "if you need to poop, you can poop in the potty."  Then I made the sign for toilet.  A few seconds later he peed, then pooped!   I'm sure it was an accident of timing, as we already know it's his poop time, but it was remarkable nonetheless.  I will spare you the photo.

He's also signing "more" like crazy, but it's unclear to us whether he actually understands what "more" means.  He still mostly relies on pointing and grunting to get seconds.

Finally, I think we're ready to record that his first word is "banana."  He says "nana" when he sees a banana and also many other times when bananas are not around.  But today in the airport, he saw a banana at Dunkin' and, while pointing to it, said "nana" as clear as a bell.

He has added on so many skills in just a few short days.  And he's cuter than ever with his big boy haircut :)
