Yeni Yillar Kutlu Olsun

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!  Lev slept beautifully while the adults partied it up.  Drinking, eating, and gambling--what more can you ask for?  We watched the ball drop on our newly renovated porch.  Perfect night!

In Turkey, Noel Baba (Santa) comes on NYE and kids open presents under the tree on New Year's Day.  Lev and Anne wore matching PJs.  The last time Anne wore these snowman pants was the night of Murat's piteous Banana Pudding accident and Lev was the size of a gummy bear.  Memories!

This is our first time spending New Year's with Murat's parents and Anne's first real Turkish celebration.  Lev will be a much envied child to be visited TWICE by Santa!
